Precision metal lapping, polishing, finishing and sizing to tight tolerances of all types of metals is our specialty. Whether it is Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Hastelloy, Titanium Carbide, Brass or Molybdenum, we can do it all. No parts are too large, small, thin, soft, or hard.
A precision metal lapping and polishing facility, Valley Design continues to expand its role with ultra-flat metal components requiring tight tolerances. Flatnesses to 1/4 lightband and parallelism to 50 millionths of an inch are achievable at Valley Design. We process materials such as Stainless Steel, Aluminum, exotics, plastics, and Ceramics using planetary, double disk, and free abrasive metal lapping machines. Valley has the capability to process parts as small as a few thousandths of an inch and up to 32 inches and larger in diameter.
We also repair vacuum chucks when worn or damaged. With prior notice, 24 hour service may be possible.
