Valley Design specializes in processing flat, optical components, including lapping, polishing, edge polishing, and dicing of substrates, wafers, and windows. The following materials can be processed to meet your specific requirements:

The optimal polish for optics is 10/5, resulting in a Fused Silica surface with less than 20 angstroms Ra finish. Ultra-thin materials as thin as 0.0005″ (12.5 micrometers) can be processed.
