Ultra Thin Polished Optical Windows
Polished optical ultra-thin windows of Soda Lime glass, BK7 glass and PYREX are all stocked at Valley Design. These windows are available with finishes of 10/5 scratch/dig and thickness tolerances to 1 micron.
Ultra-thin polished soda lime windows in diameters of 1″, 2″, 3″, 4″, 5″,100, 125 and 150 mm are available for immediate delivery in thicknesses from 0.002″ to 0.010″.
BK7 glass 3.5″ square can be finished to any thickness and cut or shaped in just a few days.
Ultra-thin Pyrex or Borofloat parts are processed continuously in all sizes and thicknesses.
A surface finish of 20/10 and thickness tolerances of ± 0.001″, 0.0005″, 0.0004″, 0.0003″, and 0.0002″ are typically requested. Tighter tolerances and higher quality surface finishes are also available.
