Machine Operator

Job Pay:
Pay: $25-$35 an hour
Type: Full Time Position
Hours: 32-40 hours a week
Job Overview:
Our Machine Operators are at the core of our daily operations at Valley Design. Your role may play a significant part in any of our core services, including:
- Lapping, polishing, and/or grinding
- Mechanical dicing
- CNC milling
Previous experience in this field is not a requirement (but would be a plus).
What You'll Do:
- Operate machinery
- Receive on-the-job training for your daily responsibilities
- Work on various machining tasks, both independently and as a small team
- Research & develop new processes
- Assist with keeping our shop clean, safe, and job-ready
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Self-starter with outside-the-box thinking
- Able to learn or use measurement tools (such as a micrometer)
- Confident in using hand tools
- Able to lift up-to 50 pounds (lbs)
- Able to use basic computer skills
- Able to follow precise instructions and job manuals
- Able to perform repetitive steps
