Dynasil 4000 Fused Quartz:
Optical Grade Synthetic Fused Silica manufactured by Dynasil is now available from Valley Design.
Optical Grade Fused Quartz wafers provide good UV and visible transmission. If the primary goals are for simple light gathering and strong mechanical properties, this material provides excellent performance at a cost-effective price.
Applications Include:
- Windows, lenses, prisms & mirrors
- Condenser optics not concerned with scatter or distortion
- High temperature and pressure applications
- Optical flats, microscope slides and sight glasses
