Specializing in lapping, polishing, edge polishing, and dicing of substrates and also manufacturing flat polished optical pieces in addition to substrates, wafers and windows from Sapphire, Quartz, Fused Silica, 96% and 99.6% Alumina, Glass of all types, Aluminum Nitride AlN, Silicon Carbide SiC, optical grade Silicon, and other materials. The best polish for optics is 10/5 which gives for Fused Silica less than 20 angstroms Ra finish. Ultra-thin materials as thin as 0.0005″ (12.5 micro-meters) are possible.
